Red Hat, Red Shirt, Red Bottoms, Red Everything

WE WON THE WORLD SERIES....WHAT?!

I was sitting in the airport ready to board the plane and someone texted me "Hey! How are you?"......I couldn't answer that question because no combination of words could correctly answer that question to its full extent.

THIS (i actually got a shout out)

IT WAS MADNESS

My brother had THE BEST game 7....hit a homerun, robbed a homerun and caught the last out of the game. How does that get any better?

Oh wait it does....his bat is going in to the Hall of Fame...

I'm not bragging, I'm not boasting, I'm just a proud sister. This is such a special time for our family and I am SO honored and privileged and blessed (etc) to be a Craig.

I give everything right back up to God cause every good and perfect gift is from Him.

The World Series

Live it up, livin' long. You can always count on those unexpected moments when the pleasure just sweeps you away. We were made for something better...

I think it is time I talk about this....even though it is by NO means over yet! I spent 5 days city/state hopping as I watched my brother play in the World Series.

I cannot describe it. There are no words that could possibly express anything that I experienced during those 5 days. No words.

Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment that cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart.

All I can say is that it is completely surreal and I have been living a life that I am by no means deserving of. I am truly humbled by everything that is happened. It is all such a blessing and I have to give all of it back up to God. Praise Him!

I Love My Brother

Song Of The Week

She is whatever she wants to be
She is a little of everything
Mixed up so tough in a beautiful way
She's got the world at her fingertips
She makes beauty look effortless
And I want everything she is

Honey, There's No Rush

When it's time to walk that way we wanna walk it well

Love is waiting til we're ready, til it's right
Love is waiting

It's my caution not the cold
there's no other hand that I would rather hold
the climate changes, I'm singing for the strangers about you
don't keep time, slow the pace
Honey hold on if you can
the bets are getting surer now that you're my man

I could live a lifetime with you and then do it all again
and like I can't force the sun to rise or hasten summer's start,
neither should I rush my way into your heart

*Girls....stop rushing....love is waiting until you're ready. When it is time to go down the road, God's gonna make sure you walk it well. You are going to spend forever with this person, so what is the rush? You have time.*

Upendi

No matter how old I get I will always picture love this way...haha

singing monkeys, swooning baboons, sultry scents of lotus bloom, conga lines, intertwined flamingos, and divine passionfruit.

This is me.......B-FAB

Born From A Baseball...
(actually this is prolly a little boy, but we'll just pretend...)

Honestly, I had THE best trip home this weekend. I hadn't been to Stadium Pizza for a month and a half which is a LONG time considering I have been going every Tuesday since it was built. I miss that atmosphere so much, but I finally got to experience it again last Friday. My brother's game was on and the intensity in that restaurant was so apparent that it was almost tangible. Good news...the won and are now in the championships! Next stop...

WORLD SERIES!

Go Cardinals! And go Allen! I am so very proud of my big brother.

Someone....

Make me this....

Man Stuff

I found this today on stumbleupon...this guy didn't say anything profound or unheard of, but I enjoyed the obvious simplicity in his writing anyway.

He blogged....

Hey dudes, I wanna talk to you about love. I know. I know. We're guys. We don't like repeating things out-loud at church much less talk about our 'feelings' online. Don't worry, I plan on including enough 'man stuff' in this post to take the 'sting' out of it. In fact, why don't we just get it all out of the way in the next sentence?

'Jack Bauer'. 'P90X'. All those 'abs from 300'. 'I don't have any money but what I do have are a very particular set of skills...'. 'You sold our dead bird to a blind kid? '. 'Beef Jerky'. 'Touchdown'. 'Beer'.

Phew. We good now? Great! Now lets talk about love.

LOVE LESSONS FOR MEN:

1.) You were made to furiously pursue a woman. Stop waiting for your odds to get better. Just go for it and give it all you've got.

2.) Once you've pursued her and won her over, keep pursuing. She's not a trophy. We stop pursuing when Jesus stops pursuing us.

3.) Don't give your kids the liberty to ever say "I never saw dad cry". It's okay to cry because of love. It's okay to cry period....P.S. - Jesus cried.

4.) It's okay to enjoy a chick flick, appreciate a sunset, cry during a movie, listen to love songs or be into Justin Bieber. Really, its okay. I promise you won't lose your man-card.

5.) The little things sometimes mean as much as the big things. Flashy romantic dates are great but sometimes the most loving thing we can do is dishes.

See? Nothing....too fancy, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

But Most Importantly...Ocean Beach

I know that I'm not right. Feels like I travel, but I never arrive. I wanna thrive, not just survive. ~Switchfoot

So I must tell you about my trip to Ocean Beach last Friday. I apologize for having to go back in time two days when you are already living right now, but it has to happen.

My lovely friends Jessica, Josh and Shaun and I decided to drive down to Ocean Beach and honestly, it turned out to be one of the greatest days I've had since I've moved to San Marcos. I might even go out on a limb comfortably and say it was top 10 best days of my life.

We started off by eating at this hole in the wall place called Hodad's.

hodad [noun] - a non-surfer who spends time at beaches masquerading as a surfer

It is probably one of the best burger joints I have ever stumbled upon. The atmosphere was absolutely incredible.

Then we all walked down to the pier.....which is always a must. This was followed by a plethora of games being played on the sand....and lots of jumping.

Finally the sunset...and it didn't just set......it SET. It was significantly more captivating than anything I have ever seen before.

While we were all watching God work his magic, there were a few hobos to the left of us just chillin' on the beachside. One of them was playing the guitar and it was absolutely amazing. He was singing a few songs that he wrote. The line Thank You Lord for every little thing is what caught my attention originally and as I began to listen more, I fell in love with all his songs. I honestly would buy them off of itunes because it was so perfect.

Josh and I decided to go sit closer to the man who we later found out was named "Q". He was known by everyone for just doing his thing and praising Jesus and hangin' out at OB. While listening to Josh's casual conversations with Q and his buds, I could not stop thinking about how absolutely beautiful God is. It is amazing how He works within us...how He fills us up and satisfies us entirely, despite our circumstances. I think I speak for Josh too when I say I was inspired by those guys. We decided to give them 5 bucks to share amongst the three of them. And they were just stoked to go buy a burrito. It was incredible.

Did I mention the sun was setting while all this was going on?

It was just an absolute unforgettable experience. I honestly do not think I could ever let that memory go even if I wanted too.

Oh yeah and this day was followed by an improv show, performing improv, watching Tangled, and the makings of epic videos....but most importantly Ocean Beach haha

Praise God for such beautiful interactions, such beautiful people and such a beautiful life. I am so humbled.
