Beauty and the Beast

Tale as old as time, true as it can be, barely even friends than somebody bends unexpectedly.

Well...what can I really say besides I just saw the most amazing play last night. I can not even describe to you what an enchanting, fairy-tale-like story Beauty and the Beast is. This play was so incredibly heart-warming, funny and captivating. It was as if the happiest of endings was performing right in front of me. Everyone in the audience was thinking of nothing else besides the magic before our eyes. I could die right now just thinking about it. Certain as the sun rising in the east... I am so so so thankful that I got to share that day with Abigail, because I know Belle is one of her favorite characters. It was truly one of the best Christmas presents that I could have ever received. This is definitely a day that I will remember for a while! Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme, Beauty and the Beast...

So Beautiful

There was a new girl in town. She had it all figured out. I'll state something rash. She had the most amazing....smile.

So last night I went to the Dance Production with Keenan and Michael and it was simply amazing! I think we all know by now that I believe dancing is just the most incredible thing in this world. And I would KILL to be able to do something so beautiful. If only I had one wish. Haha. Our school's dance program is filled with such talented people and it was such an honor to see them perform on stage. It was a very good night indeed.

Dear Loyal Fans

When my brother first got drafted by the Cardinals, I started writing this book called "Dear Loyal Fans". My mom always said that I should write one because I have spent such a majority of my life at a baseball field. Therefore, I started writing letters to Parents, Players, and those so called "loyal baseball fans" and I actually came across it the other day. It gave me quite a laugh I gotta say, I think I might keep continuing these letters and see where it takes me.

I probably wrote this after going to a Giants game because their fans are pretty brutal. Haha this definitely made me laugh. I promise I had more serious ones too.

Dear Loyal Fans,

Get it out of your system. I know for a fact that a lot of you guys have some vicious rhetoric. It is time to learn to gradually express your anger in a reasonable manner. For goodness sakes, there are kids around! God forbid they pick up a disease from your bad case of word vomit. If you are alone watching a televised game, this is a completely different story. I am speaking only to those who attend a game in a public setting and completely forget to bring the filter that divides their thoughts and voice box. When a strike is called and it is really a ball……breathe. It will be okay. The umpire will probably make up for it in the next inning anyway. If not, this is not the time to lose your temper. It is one call, one play, one game, one season. Baseball will last forever, so do not let that one call get the best of you. Just slow your roll.

Burlesque

So I FINALLY watched this movie with my mom a couple minutes ago and it was SO great! I know it got awful reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I'm sure a lot of people will pass burlesque dancing by as degrading and what not, but I think there is such a classiness about it that this movie portrays perfectly. You better believe I bought the soundtrack.

Clovers

Mirror I am seeing a new reflection. I'm looking into the eyes of He who made me and to Him I am beauty beyond compare. I know who defines me.

So today at Good News Club I finally heard the whole talk about St. Patrick and who he was. It really is an amazing story and you should definitely look it up one day. He is a magnificent man for sure. One small thing that kind of stood out to me was that when he went to be a missionary in Ireland he used clovers (which typically have three leaves on them) to represent The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. I just think that's cool and it's something I will always think about when I see a clover.

Summer Lovin'

Obviously this weather is getting more then ready for summer! And just being able to hang with friends.....

It is coming guys, I know spring typically comes first, but summer will be here in no time! Here are some things that made me smile despite the death long week.

* When you can text a teacher the night before a scholarship is due and they will whip out an essay for you

* Making the best of a boring situation
* Flattering texting conversations
* Buying the first swimsuit of the season
* Laying out in the sun
* Finishing a book even though it was awful
* Getting out of 9 summaries because my teacher trusts me
* Finally going back to Night Life with my sister and best friend
* Talking in front of 400 eighth graders with Dani and making them laugh
* Learning the real story
* Being greeted by little hand hugs at Good News Club
* Screaming Hallelujah with my best friend
* Knowing that good things are comin'

So this week has been very interesting for me to say the least. The first half of the week I was slightly struggling and the second half was just incredibly amazing.

For the first half here was what was going through my brain....I know for a fact that God is inside of me, but why can't I see him in anybody else? It was just frustrating for me because I have been so addicted to the big man upstairs, but I had nobody besides the select few to share that happiness with. But of course, after a talk with my best friend I changed my view about the whole situation a little bit.

Next time things get a little messed up, I'll shine. I'm fine just tryin' to wake the rest up

This is what I'm gonna do, when I get frustrated with the dullness of everyone else's light, I'll just shine even brighter. Corny I know. He deserves an unashamed love and so that is what I plan to give Him.

So the end of the week was great! I got to hang out with Keenan and then go to dinner with my twins!! We all went to the talen show to root on the SAT's (Samaira, Anna, and Torin!) They were so amazing :D Finally we headed to yogurt factory to finishe the night off right. It was such a good, fun, happy, night I feel so so blessed!
